- Excess Liability for Public Entities in all States, including:
- Counties, Municipalities
- Public School Districts, Community Colleges,
- State Colleges and Universities
- Public Utilities
- Public Transit Districts
- Other Public Agencies and Special Districts
- Pools and JPAs comprising risks listed above
- Minimum Attachment Point: $5,000,000
- Target Limits up to $2,000,000 excess of underlying
- Follow Form Excess and Reinsurance of MOCs
- Can write either Excess of Loss or Quota Share
Application Requirements
- Completed Public Entity and appropriate Supplemental Applications
- Minimum 10 years’ currently valued, uncapped, first dollar loss data (in Excel format) from the Insured or insureds’ TPA (including losses incurred within the SIR)
- Currently valued Carrier Loss Runs
- Large Loss Summary (details of all losses over $500,000)
- Expiring program structure and pricing
- Underlying quotes and/or binders
- Most recent Budget or CAFR and Financial Ratings
- Additional information required for Pools:
- Exposure data for all members
- Copy of MOC and Membership Agreement
- Complete list of members
- Most recent Actuarial Study
- Details of risk management, claim management, loss control, safety, etc. services offered to the members
