The Senior Reinsurance Accountant is responsible for executing accounting functions related to assumed and ceded reinsurance activities. This position will be responsible for a variety of complex reinsurance accounting practices to include preparation of journal entries, reconciliation, research and month-end close. As a Senior Reinsurance Reporting Accountant, the expectation is that the job will be performed with a high level of independence regarding day-to-day activities. This position will also assist in the handling of multiple tasks simultaneously, adhering to timelines and communicating clearly and effectively both orally and written.

The role of the Assistant Vice President - Professional Liability is to evaluate and write new and renewal policies within designated letter of authority. This role also serves as a mentor to underwriters and associate underwriters.

The SOX Manager will serve as a critical leader in managing the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance program, ensuring robust governance, risk, and compliance practices across both IT and business operations. You will administer and manage the organization’s GRC tool, drive control design reviews for new application implementations, and provide expert advisory support at the outset of system implementation projects to embed SOX requirements early.

The role will focus on monitoring system health, responding to alerts and user inquiries, and resolving common issues related to cloud-based workflows, access, and service availability—particularly within Azure Logic Apps and related integration services.
