This role is also responsible for the support & servicing of underwriting tasks on a daily basis. This role will also assist with the training and mentoring of new team members. The Underwriting Assistant acts as an extension to our Underwriters and is responsible for handling urgent requests, all technical processing, and acting as a point of contact for our customers in our Underwriter’s absence. The Underwriting Assistant will need to diagnose urgent issues and prioritize them as well as triage accordingly to ensure expeditious handling and retention of business.

The Senior, Internal Controls is responsible for helping to establish a robust Internal Audit team, including the implementation of an audit software solution, performing the annual internal controls risk assessment, and executing controls testing, including maintaining testing evidence in support of external audit and regulatory requirements.
