March is National Ladder Safety Month, but ladder safety is warranted daily.  To help to promote ladder safety throughout worksites in the last few days of March and thereafter, we have provided two portable ladder handouts for use in a toolbox talk or training, and the following online resources:

Falls are one of most common causes of fatalities or severe injuries at work and focusing on ladder safety is just one means of promoting fall prevention within a work team.  For more information about enhancing fall prevention on your jobsites, we are sharing information on the National Fall Prevention Stand-down to be held May 1-5, 2023.  This is an annual event and participation in the stand-down is encouraged but completely voluntary.  All employers are welcome to access and use these materials at any time.
